I could dedicate myself to writing about my body for the rest of my life, and I would still have so many questions. Preparing for this reading, Generation Women, helped me to ventilate just one cupboard, encouraging me to question and vocalize a piece of who/what I am.
I have been called many things in life. Being called RADICAL is one I’d like to keep, and stitch inside my pocket. In celebration of Brooklyn Book Festival, I will be reading alongside phenomenal writers: Madeline Stevens, Hala Alyan, and S. Erin Batiste on Tuesday, September 17th. This event is presented by Franklin Park Reading Series, HIP Lit, Women Writers in Bloom Poetry Salon, and Big Words, Etc.
Share in the festivities at Staten Island’s zine fest on Sunday, September 15th
Hydrogen Junkbox will be performing new songs and some favorites too in celebration of this outdoor festival of poetry, small presses, comics, poetry, and an open mic!!!
